Located at an altitude of 2192 metres, a former royal hunting lodge, it still retains an old, original, late 19th-century part. The refuge is strategically located for walking and high-altitude hiking, at the crossroads of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the Mont Avic Regional Park and the Piemonte valleys. Easily accessible thanks to its proximity to the municipal road, it is the perfect place for a first refuge experience or the starting point for hikes and outdoor activities.
